5 GB with Vimeo Plus [BETA]

Vimeo now supports 5 GB uploads. That’s pretty much a full length film. Unfortunately, their desktop uploader nor Internet Explorer support 5 GB uploads. The best way to upload is with Firefox/Chrome via Vimeo’s new “Ajax Uploader“.

Sony HomeShare [Wireless Speakers]

Sony’s HomeShare is Sony’s entry in the wireless home speaker market. I’ve talked about Sonos, Squeezebox, and Apple’s AirPlay here before and I don’t think HomeShare much improves on these. Fortunately Sony produces speakers and will probably be able to get the tech into a bunch of models. They have an iPhone app but can I get an Android one? It’s 2011.
