Jay-Z & Kanye West
No Church In The Wild
Directed by ROMAIN GAVRAS
You may remember Romain Gavras from all his other amazing videos. I’m not tired of his repeated style of video yet. Enjoy.

A camera + tripod + Kinect + Segway = your own steadycam cameraman following you. So simple. Below is a BTS video of the system and a video made with the system.

Above is Jay and Ye performing No Church In The Wild live in London. They show some clips from the video on the big screen. It’s going to be good.

Sidecar finally came to the iPhone today. It’s not the first phone-call app to offer live sharing of things but it sure looks good. I don’t think I use more than 5 minutes a month calling but for those who still do, this may be a good addition to your smart phone.

Taking Pictures of Girls Naked
Directed by Erikson Corniel and Michael Mejia
In the overdone sea of Vimeo-hip-hop-videos-with-naked-tatted-girls this one isn’t half bad. I like the song…too.

Above is a recent clip of comedian Hannibal Buress on Conan. You may know him from 30 Rock, SNL, or stand-up. I’ve seen him live many many times and last year attended his taping. The special will be premiering on Comedy Central and it’s great. In this everyone-gets-a-comedy-central-special-now era, you don’t want to miss this one. This is real.
You can also pre-order the uncut DVD below. Where’s the BLU-RAY?!

My boy ZEPS was on Jimmy Fallon last night for the Ready. Set. Flow. segment. Dope. You might remember Dama Nilz on there too. Check it!

For Mother’s Day I took my mother to watch 10 soccer games simultaneously at 10AM at Legend‘s bar. It was the last day of the season for the English Premiership League (arguably the top league in the world). On this last day, all the games take place at the same time to minimize each team’s influence on other games. This year there was quite a bit was at stake for a bunch of teams. The top team wasn’t decided yet and the bottom teams weren’t either. The bottom three get booted from the league. When it comes to Manchester City and Manchester United, I like to make the analogy of the Yankees and the Mets. Man U has won plenty of times and it’s been decades since Man City has won. The video above is a nice montage of the events as they unfolded. Unbelievable stuff.

Author Maurice Sendak passed away yesterday and it reminded me of a recent interview he did with Stephen Colbert and also one with NPR. We have the same thoughts on life, death, religion, and most things but it is much more profound and meaningful hearing them come from a lifelong author rather than me, a random twenty-something year old. Please listen to the interview below if you can. It’s short but well worth it.

When I was a kid, Wolfenstein 3D came to DOS and it was the game to play. I recall playing that along with the later ID Software games. Building levels for DOOM was more enjoyable than any gaming experience I have now. It’s now the 20th Anniversary (Am I really that old?) and you can play Wolfenstein 3D on the web or your iPhone. Check the video below of the software engineer describing how the game came about. Super interesting.
