A couple of weeks ago I started shooting a web series titled Marriage and Other Tragedies with Tony Salerno. It stars and is written by Greg Abbey. Above is a photo I took in-between takes at Central Park.
I’m picking up the series after the 4th episode. The first episode of the series is below. I’ll post the ones Tony and I shot in the coming weeks. I used some Canon 7D’s with Nikon, Tokina, and Canon lenses.
Google Wallet has officially come to the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon. Due to Verizon’s own NFC chip agendas they wouldn’t allow Galaxy Nexus users to take advantage of the NFC enabled Google Wallet app. Of course there was a workaround, that was rather easy to do to get it, but until now you couldn’t get it officially or the updated version.
What’s dope with the official app is that Google fixed it’s security problem as well as added support for all kinds of plastic cards. This is major. The overall counter payment process is still maybe 1.5 seconds too long but there’s something sexy about having your wallet on your phone…or part of your brain. Singularity.
After using the new Google Wallet app in the wild for a week, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s faster than swiping my cards. Good work!
I watched Bolt win the 100m live yesterday online. Why not TV? That’s been the theme of these failed Olympics. Regardless, I live for track and field. Bolt winning on the 50th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence at the Great Britain Olympics…c’mon son!? Today’s probably the only day I could convince my mother to take a trip back home to Kingston. Above is a video of Bolt and Blake playing each other in FIFA on Playstation. This brings up a question I’ve always had. Why aren’t these dudes playing soccer for team Jamaica? I know they can play. #JustSayin
