Prolix [Board Game]
January 18th, 2011
My friend Gil is heavy into board games. I’m not talking Monopoly or Apples to Apples. I’m talking The Settlers of Catan and Dominion. I’m talking board game conventions across the country. He recently finished his first board game Prolix. It’s a word game where you have a single board full of changing consonants. Players try to come up with a word using as many of them as possible. The consonants have changing point values. The more points the better.
Now, I’m far from someone with a large vocabulary but if you try this game you will quickly realize that a large vocabulary might not get you the best words. Please try a bare-bones online version of the game here:
