88-Keys Picks Samples at 14 for Producers

This video is far from D-Nice’s “True Hip Hop Stories” or Skillz’ “Hip Hop Confessions“. This falls in with the growing number of those types of videos. As a video, it’s horribly put together.

However, I’m a big fan of 88 and reading 90′s hip-hop liner notes so this story is very appealing. I actually met 88 quite a few times but the first time was during the studio recording of Angie Stone’s “Stone Love” album. He appreciated that someone recognized him and knew his work. There is another video of when he met Jay Dee for the first time. It’s also a very interesting story.
