I’ve been on Verizon since my first cellphone. Yes, it’s unhealthy but it worked out in the long run. Awesome coverage and a good selection of phones. I should have known something was fishy when Verizon turned down the iPhone in 2007. I also noticed none of the Google phones were making it to Verizon. I was angry but not angry enough to leave. There are some great Android phones out there. With the announcement of a Google phone coming to Verizon, I was ecstatic. What could go wrong?
Ut oh. Were in debut month and still no official announcement from either Google or Verizon. We know it comes out this month. I can kind of understand Verizon’s lack of marketing but Google? Fishy.
Now with news of Verizon blocking Google Wallet from the Galaxy Nexus it all makes sense. Fuck you Verizon. You’re putting out arguably the best phone to date and you cut off its balls? NFC is why people Android. Its why iPhoners are jealous and you screw up such a major selling point all because you plan on making your own shitty mobile wallet system with AT&T in the future? ISIS?! Really!?!? First grade style spite?!? C’mon son. All the bullshit I put up with because I know the alternatives are worse. Insert relationship analogy here. I feel like no one is going to break up these carrier giants until we no longer rely on cell towers. So, can someone speed up mobile tech please? 4G is already slow in comparison to other technology so can Earth be a WI-FI hotspot already?!?
Spoiled for no reason…
I guess no one wants the ball in their court:
