“I’ve been waiting for 5 minutes! This is unacceptable!”

Today, I was peer-pressured into going to Burger King. Whatever. Twice a year is a lot. I mean, hey, they DO have salads and apples and…water. Don’t make me post up my BMI and cholestrol to son all of you veegs!

So, I’m at Burger King on line waiting for my food to come and the late-forty-something-year-old Newark woman in front of me screams at her server, “I’ve been waiting for 5 minutes! This is unacceptable!” and proceeds towards the exit. As a joke, my friend mutters “Are we going to get shot now?”. Apparently, the woman had been waiting for too long for her food to come.

Not to sound too much like Louis C.K. but really lady? Really? Five minutes is too long for your obese self to wait for a ground up cooked piece of a cow? Fast food isn’t fast enough for you? Do you know how long this would have taken to create this meal just 100 years ago? You would have to murder a 1400 pound animal, bake bread and grow crop in order to get beef on a bun with lettuce and tomato. Forget about cheese and mystery sauces. Five minutes is too long for you?! Where the HELL are you going that five minutes is too long to wait for a damn Whopper? Seriously lady, in this giant picture of wrongness, you ARE what is wrong with humans.
